History: FBK began as an art exhibition highlighting different graffiti artist that participated in FlatBlack Clothing events. FBK was known as Flat Black Kings. After flatblack became a Christian Hip Hop clothing line, a need for Christian artists arose. Zender was visiting the FOCIS program, who has a legal yard called "my art lab, where they allow young aerosol artists to paint their building. At that location Zender meet Josue Uno and Cowboy, with a like passion for Graff, art and serving God, this trio began to participate in other Christian related events. Zender later met Festo while painting with The Graff League, Festo's crew. He also became aware of Festo passion for Christ, by now the group was collaborating more frequently. Influence by the idea of Gospel Graffiti the Lord began to place the idea of a Christian Graff Crew on Zender. The idea was brought to the table to Cowboy, Festo and Joshua and it seemed possible, it wasent until attending a Victory Outreach Hip Hop event that Zender meet Jobe, Xsel, Cawst and others that this crew became solidified. |

About FBK:
FBK is a Christian graffiti art crew that has dedicated themselves to present their artistic gifts unto the Lord. The Crew is dedicated to becoming a positive alternative to the graffiti art culture. Through Graff productions, painting demonstration, fashion, and collaborations their collective work will glorify Jesus Christ and the Word of God. |

The graffiti art phenomenon is reaching the entire world, more and more kids are drawn to this creative and inovative art form. Included in this sub-culture are also some negative elements, FBK Crew hopes to be a positve alternative to kids and young adults who come to Christ as urban graffiti artists. Creative a positive and consecrated environment for urban art and Spirituality. |
